We have our final nominations & Auxiliary Officer elections on April 9th. Although we have a total of 313 Auxiliary members, we have small number of members actually attending our monthly meetings. Attendance at six meetings is a requirement for elected office. A number of our current officers are tired and want to step back from re-election & holding office but still volunteer to help the Post & Auxiliary as able.

However, we do have good NEWS. After contacting the National Auxiliary Parliamentarian, she gave us great feedback and let us know that as long as we have an elected President, we'll be able to keep our local Auxiliary active! This is because an elected President can then appoint members to any remaining open officer positions that need to be filled. We have about a dozen ladies who fit the requirement for President, so please encourage all of your Auxiliary sisters to step forward to keep Auxiliary #1 strong and active.

Our Child Welfare Programs Chair, Janine Byers, hosts a Monthly Bake Sale on the 1st Wednesday of each month which starts around 5:30PM. Baked goods (or purchased items) are always needed every month. Your baked goods contributions are always helpful & very much appreciated!
