Summer is in full swing, but school will soon follow—therefore, the school supply drive will continue though summer and the rest of the year. If you have donations, please let Janine Byers know.

VA Homeless Program (HPACT) The Ladies Auxiliary is collecting individual wrapped snacks and bottled water for our homeless Veteran's when they are visiting the Lakewood VA Hospital Clinics. The clinics are walk-in, no appointment needed and provide the following services: medical care, case management, housing placement support, substance use and mental health treatment, community referrals, triage services, benefits counseling, and hot showers along with clean clothing. If you would like to donate, please place your donations in the round tub in main hallway entrance by Chappie's Lounge.

Fun Fact: July is National Ice Cream Month! Participate in our monthly ice cream social (Child Welfare Fund) on the first Saturday of June, July and August from 5-7PM. This will replace our bake sales during these summer months. Janine is planning on having root beer and orange soda floats, brownie sundaes and banana splits.
